Peter joined Coronation Holdings Ltd (“Corohold”) in 1998 from Nedbank Investment Bank and worked with David Barnes and Gavan Ryan, founders of Corohold, to start an investment banking and private equity operation for the Group. Since this time Peter, together with Allan Joffe, has overseen the successful growth of this business to being a separate incorporated entity owned by management together with Coronation Investments and Trading, an entity controlled by the founders of Corohold.
Prior to joining Corohold/CoroCapital Peter was employed by Nedbank Investment Bank (previously UAL Merchant Bank) as Assistant General Manager in the Corporate Finance Division from 1995-1998 where he worked on various corporate finance advisory mandates for mostly large listed companies including advising Corohold on their various advisory and capital raising requirements.
Peter started his career at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange’s Listings Division and then was employed in a medium sized stock-broking firm specialising in corporate finance transactions.
Peter is now based in Mauritius and is driving international opportunities for the CoroCap Group.
